At "We Love Rainier Washington," our mission is simple yet profound: to strengthen our beloved community of Rainier and its surrounding areas. Since our inception in 2018, we have been driven by the unwavering belief that communities thrive when united. We are a nonprofit organization, run entirely by dedicated volunteers, and proudly hold a 501(c)(3) status.

Our journey began when two community-minded visionaries, George Sharp and George Johnson, gathered Rainier's business owners and concerned citizens at Rainier City Hall. This meeting marked the birth of our organization, with over 25 individuals in attendance, including City Council members. Together, we penned a three-page document outlining our aspirations and the direction we wished to pursue.

Over the years, our commitment has expanded far beyond that initial meeting. We have embarked on a journey to enhance the quality of life in Rainier and its neighboring communities. From clearing brush in our city park and organizing highway clean-up initiatives to painting the iconic "Welcome to Rainier" signs and creating a warm welcome wagon for new community members, we have continually sought ways to uplift our community's spirit.

But our journey doesn't stop there. We have fostered partnerships with local schools, businesses, and other nonprofits, all working towards a common goal: making Rainier a better place to live, work, play, and raise families. Our dedication to hosting family-friendly events and providing low-cost activities serves as a testament to our commitment to strengthening family ties within our community.

At "We Love Rainier Washington," we firmly believe that together, we can create a stronger, more vibrant community. We invite you to join us in our journey and be a part of this inspiring collective effort to enhance the fabric of Rainier and its surrounding areas.
